The area that showcases the sustainable and innovative future of the foodservice industry.
Located in Hall B1, the Sustainability & Innovation District is the SIGEP WORLD space dedicated to the key themes shaping the sector: sustainability, research and innovation.
Within the district, an exhibition area will be entirely devoted to promoting sustainable practices and processes across the five represented supply chains, creating a direct bridge between producers and conscious consumers.
Next to this space, the most promising start-ups in the foodservice industry, both Italian and international, will showcase new ingredients, technologies, digital services and innovative packaging. A true meeting point for emerging enterprises, companies and international professionals, designed to highlight responsible practices, cutting-edge technologies and solutions that enhance efficiency and competitiveness across the industry.
The area will also feature a stage hosting a program of talks and panels, where experts, innovators and changemakers will share experiences, best practices and forward-looking visions for a more responsible future.
The on-site projects
Bean to Bar
Bean to Bar is a dedicated space designed to showcase the entire chocolate-making process, from the cocoa bean to the finished product. A place where artisanal mastery turns chocolate into pure excellence.
The area is created in collaboration with Guido Castagna, a renowned chocolatier and roaster.
Within this space, visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of artisan chocolate technologies, discovering the innovations and techniques that make Bean to Bar production truly unique.

Origin Countries Area
The presence of origin countries such as Costa Rica, Guatemala, Colombia, Ethiopia, and others offers a unique opportunity to showcase the roots of coffee and cocoa, promote sustainable agriculture, encourage ethical practices along the supply chain, and engage industry professionals.

International Start-up Village
The International Start-Up Village is the SIGEP WORLD area dedicated to the most innovative foodservice start-ups, both Italian and international. A space for meeting and networking where emerging companies present cutting-edge technologies, ingredients, digital solutions and sustainable packaging across the gelato, pastry, coffee, chocolate, bakery and pizza sectors.
Organized by Italian Exhibition Group, in collaboration with ICE-Agency and ANGI – National Association of Young Innovators, the project confirms SIGEP WORLD as a true international incubator of innovation in the out-of-home industry.
